AeroParts Now Welcomes London-Based Borescope Aviation as Aircraft Parts Sales SaaS Platform Customer

Savannah, Georgia, December 8, 2020 — AeroParts Now, the most advanced aircraft part sales automation and management platform and a member of the Simon Group Holdings - Technology Ventures portfolio, today announced the addition of Borescope Aviation Ltd as a customer.

Based in London, Borescope Aviation is a growing supplier of rotable parts for commercial fleets in the European market, specifically regional and narrow body aircraft. Borescope chose to add AeroParts Now to their operations to manage their sales and supply chains, which focus heavily on wheels, brakes, avionics, engines, and APUs.

“Moving forward with AeroParts Now was an easy decision,” said James McNorton, chief executive officer at Borescope Aviation. “When we saw the capabilities of the software—how it simplifies and consolidates a lot of our common job functions into one platform—we knew we had to get on board,” he said.

Borescope Aircraft Sales Executive Peter Diaz says that the multi-faceted capabilities of APN software have allowed them to use the software for inventory management and quoting in place of multiple tools. “We like that efficiency, which is really important because we have to operate in a lean manner,” he said.

Bijal Shah, Business Development Manager at Borescope particularly appreciates the way APN software sorts and prioritizes the vast quantity of requests for quote (RFQ) they receive on a daily basis. “Being located at Heathrow, one of the busiest airports in the world, and being a true 24/7/365 operation, we get a lot of requests,” he said. “Our RFQ inbox keeps us focused on the highest priority opportunities, and moves a lot of noise to the background,” he continued. “This allows us to work much more efficiently, keeping our customers satisfied while staying on top of new opportunities.”

“We’re excited Borescope has joined our family,” said AeroParts Now president and CTO Will Dent. “Peter and the leadership team at Borescope are forward-thinking and see the dramatic shift in aviation business technology that is already underway,” he said. “With Aeroparts Now, they will be well positioned to grow and work faster and more efficiently than ever.”

AeroParts Now advisory board member Robert Bail also values the addition of Borescope as a valuable member of its global customer portfolio. “We recognize that aviation is a global industry and continue to look for market share both here in the U.S. and all over the world,” he said.
