AeroParts Now Announces Strategic Partnership with Aircraft Maintenance Quoting Technology Provider MRO Insider

Savannah, Georgia, July 7, 2020 — AeroParts Now™, developers of the aviation industry’s most advanced parts sales acceleration platform, today announced a strategic partnership with aircraft maintenance and service quoting provider MRO Insider. The collaboration, led by AeroParts Now CEO Mike Fahy, President and CTO Will Dent and MRO Insider Co-Founder Andy Nixon, will enable MRO Insider to offer part search capabilities through their new app platform in addition to their aircraft maintenance quoting service.

“Our partnership with MRO Insider will play an important strategic role as we begin to license our software beyond our core customers,” said Dent. “The real-time, aggregated parts pricing and sourcing data we are able to provide is invaluable to individual buyers, large-scale service providers, and the entire aviation industry.”

Starting later this year, MRO Insider’s maintenance/AOG/detailing platform will include a new parts search option, powered by AeroParts Now technology. This new capability will enable operators to include parts quote requests along with service quote requests, giving them a more complete picture of costs to repair aircraft.

Nixon also sees tremendous value in partnering with AeroParts Now, believing it will increase MRO Insider’s visibility with their core demographics of aircraft owners/operators and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) organizations as they continue to build their community. “The AeroParts Now partnership gives us the missing piece of our quoting service,” he said. “Now our customers can more accurately estimate the total cost of repair for each project.”

AeroParts Now and MRO Insider began talks in early 2020, seeing a complementary vision between the two companies. “Our relationship with MRO Insider allows us to test our API-first architecture and enables us to be agile in supplying new types of data streams to aircraft manufacturers, maintainers, and operators,” said Dent.

Nixon sees the benefit of helping each other grow their respective customer bases. “Our affiliation with APN makes our services more valuable to our current customers, and puts us in front of a growing number of potential customers. It benefits a lot of users and is a win-win.”

MRO Insider is a SaaS company, which enables aircraft owners and operators to obtain quotes quickly and easily for a broad range of aircraft services which include AOG, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, detailing/disinfecting, parts, and equipment.  MRO Insider is not a magazine.
